– Workshop overview –

Scientific research has recently demonstrated a range of benefits associated with ancient contemplative principles such as meditation, mindfulness, compassion, non-attachment, and emptiness. In addition to reducing stress and improving health and wellbeing, such techniques have also been shown to improve work-effectiveness, life choices, decision-making skills, job satisfaction, and quality of life more generally. The workshop will draw upon Dr Van Gordon’s ground breaking research in order to offer training and practical guidance focussing on applying contemplative principles in everyday life and work situations. The half-day workshop will comprise a series of short lectures, guided meditation exercises, group work, and Q&A.
